To the surprise of no one, my mohawk was very short-lived. I thought the style sort of embodied the punk ethos - that is, "I don't give a fuck." But given the amount of preening and hair product (italicized as though it's a foreign word because Chris Delong is the only person who can say it correctly and, thus, is effectively a foreign word) applying/kneading I did for those two glorious mornings in which I arose to find this thing on my head, it dawned on me that perhaps the collapse of punk is due to its fundamentally self-contradicting nature.

In any event, it's all gone. I'm a modern-day Samson. But rather than losing my strength, I lost my sanity, or so this picture would lead you to believe.
